MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: A doctorate or an individual at ABD status who is within one year of completing their degree in Criminal Justice, Criminology, or a closely related social science field.

RESPONSIBILITIES: This is a nine-month, tenure-track position. The candidate accepted for this position will be expected to teach 12 credit hours per semester at the undergraduate and graduate level in criminal justice (will include both on-campus and online courses), pursue continuing/on-going research related to criminal justice or related field, and participate in departmental, university, and discipline service activities.

ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT: The Department of Criminal Justice provides students with the conceptual and research skills to investigate and understand a variety of issues in criminal justice while also offering a broad range of courses to support a comprehensive and solid background for students entering into the criminal justice field. The department offers two undergraduate degrees and one graduate degree in criminal justice and currently has 6 full time faculty position with approximately 300 undergraduate majors and 45 graduate students.
