Outcomes Assessment Coordinator
This position will facilitate the coordination of assessment and program review activities. The Coordinator will work closely with faculty, staff and administration to support initiatives that will improve student learning. The Coordinator is expected to develop and foster ongoing relationships with faculty, staff and administrators that supports a culture of inquiry and continuous quality improvement. This position reports to the Dean for Learning Outcomes, Curriculum, and Program Development.
Coordinate efforts with academic departments in the development and maintenance of effective assessment activities (e.g. defining learning outcomes, curriculum alignment and mapping, data collection and analysis, using data for improvement).
Facilitates the coordination of college co-curricular assessment to ensure alignment with institutional and accreditation expectations with respect to student learning.
Support internal departments with assessment-related information during program review and discipline-based accreditation processes.
Assist with the creation of assessment materials and provide professional development opportunities.
Assist in the dissemination of assessment results to internal and external stakeholders.
Prepare reports and summarize complex data (quantitative and qualitative).
Design, administering and analyze assessment instruments.
Train and support faculty and staff in the use of assessment management tools.
Support the annual program review process.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Bachelor's degree in assessment, education or related field, Master's degree preferred.
Two years' experience in higher education required assessment or program review preferred.
Knowledge of direct and indirect learning outcome measures.
Knowledge of quantitative research design and measurement techniques, including sampling procedures and issues of reliability and validity.
Excellent analytical, oral, written and interpersonal communication skills required and experience with data management (data gathering and storing) or assessment software is a plus.
Ability to develop and maintain effective and constructive collaborative relationships with faculty and administration.
Ability to work independently and as an effective team member.
Ability to handle multiple priorities.
Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel or similar software (including data manipulation/integration, graphing, pivoting).
Experience with data visualization and presentation preferred.
Working knowledge of Learning Management Systems (LMS) preferred.
