SMHS is seeking a Registration & Records Manager who serves as the registrar and student services director for the MD program in SMHS. The individual manages all enrollment, registration and change in status' for 720 medical students. The position performs all Banner related enrollment and grade entry/reporting/tracking functions for the MD program. This individual manages all graduation certifications and provides primary administrative oversight of all graduation and graduation related event planning. This individual provides graduation certification and meets licensure and certification requests for hundreds of alumni every year.

Responsibilities include:
Serves as the registrar for the School of Medicine.

Manages all course information via Banner.

Responsible for management of medical student transcripts. Enters all grades.

Confirms enrollment and graduation status for current medical students.

Manages the status and change in status for over 700 students per year.

Completes documentation of student status and graduate status.

Leads the completion of hundreds of annual training/education certifications for students and alumni of the School of Medicine.

Manages all aspects of graduation and the SMHS diploma ceremony.

Monitors grade reporting for all medical school classes. Coordinates with multiple faculty and course coordinators to ensure timely completion of student evaluations/grades.

Performs other work related duties as assigned. The omission of specific duties does not preclude the supervisor from assigning duties that are logically related.

Minimum Qualifications:

Qualified candidates will hold a Bachelor's degree in an appropriate area of specialization plus 2 years of relevant professional experience, or, a Master's degree or higher in a relevant area of study. Degree must be conferred by the start date of the position. Degree requirements may be substituted with an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

Additional Required Licenses/Certifications/Posting Specific Minimum Qualifications: Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience with higher education registration and records management.

Strong working knowledge of Banner.

Demonstrated ability to handle competing priorities.
