Childcare Resource and Referral
Nature of Work:
Responsible to supervise and provide direction to Child Care Resource & Referral (CCR&R) Training Administrator, analyze provision of child care professional development/early childhood education services of the Region 4 CCR&R and make recommendations for growth and success. Support the Region 4 CCR&R system of training and technical assistance to Quality Rated participating clients by employing the
essential functions of the position.
Training and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education required; master's degree in Early Childhood Education preferred with 1-3 years of work related experience
Illustrative Examples of Work:
*Supervise work of others, including planning, assigning and scheduling work, reviewing work and ensuring quality standards, training staff and overseeing their productivity.
*Within the first three months of employment, apply for and receive state trainer approval through the Georgia Early Care and Education Professional Development System.
*Provide regular reports to Region 4 management.
*Develop CCR&R Region 4 Facebook/social media page and maintain to post training, events, announcements, Quality Rated developments, provider hi-lights, and items as directed by Region 4 management.
*Seek and provide professional development based on need to Region 4 TA staff. Manage Region 4 Internal Staff Training for Trainer (TFT) development.
*Achieve PLC facilitator certification and offer while assisting PLC certified staff and those in process.
*Meet with Training Administrator via phone/email on regular basis/often as needed; meet face to face as needed. Meet with/provide reports to Region 4 management via phone/email on regular basis/often as needed; meet face to face as directed and/or as needed.
*Occasional evening and Saturday training.
*Attend DECAL training, meetings, and events as directed by Region 4 management.
*Perform other duties as assigned.
