The learning resource support evaluates and troubleshoots incoming issues with learning resources for new and existing courses. This position collaborates with the learning resource specialists from the various college teams to ensure resources are functioning properly. A successful candidate identifies and communicates trends found in the learning resources to the learning resource manager and college teams. The learning resource support maintains current and relevant knowledge in their respective content area and takes a proactive approach to learning new technology that could better assist with student learning. #PJ #AA *LI-AB-EG

Job Responsibilities

  • Processes and troubleshoots incoming learning resource feedback tickets from students or staff
  • Contacts and educates students who are experiencing issues with the content or functionality of learning resources
  • Builds and develops partnerships with learning resource providers to quickly and accurately fix problems or content errors in the resources
  • Collaborates with college curriculum teams and learning resource specialists to resolve learning resource problems and issues
  • Interacts and builds relationships with internal and external stakeholders to identify problems and propose solutions in the learning resources
  • Updates courses with correct learning resource information and changes, or directs the Course Maintenance Team to do so when applicable, and maintains the learning resource database
  • Conducts regular and ongoing evaluations of existing learning resource issues to ensure quality standards are maintained and alerts curriculum team of any identified trends
  • Leads learning resource projects in planning, execution, tracking, and implementation
  • Drives project schedules to ensure timely completion of tasks, communication with stakeholders, and project task management
  • Ensures contracted learning resources are available either via integration or through the learning resource tab within the course
  • Evaluates issues that could arise with potential new learning resources and works with the college learning resource specialist to address future needs
  • Prepares and analyzes detailed reports and dashboards on the effectiveness of learning resources, vendor response time, the number of students affected by outstanding issues, and the types of issues

  • Experience with online instructional platforms, learning resource analysis/development, or instructional design/development

  • Bachelor’s and master’s degrees related to the program area
  • Experience with online instruction and adult learning models
  • Experience in customer service sales and marketing preferred but not required
