Duties and Responsibilities 1. Serve as the LPN Clinical Coordinator.2. Oversee the coordination of all the clinical practicum courses for the LPN program. This will include visiting clinical sites affiliated with the LPN Program.3. Develop, plan and coordinate the Certified Nursing Assistant and Patient Care Technician skill set.4. Collaborate with the LPN Program Coordinator in all matters of the LPN Program to include assessment, Advisory Board, and curriculum review for the program.5. Work with the LPN Advisory Board in matters relating to the clinical practicum and instruction.6. Instruct and assess appropriate courses in the LPN program. This will require traveling to the Braxton County Campus in Flatwoods, WV and the Advanced Technology Center in Fairmont, WV.7. Serve on school and college wide committees.8. Attend school and faculty meetings.9. Attend in-service programs.10. Exhibit professional and scholarly growth.11. Maintain continuing education to upgrade and update skills and knowledge in both the health field and education12. Maintain membership in professional organizations.13. Evaluate clinical sites and instructors.14. Maintain scheduled office and classroom hours.15. Serve as an effective academic advisor.16. Collaborate with other faculty as a team player.17. Assume other responsibilities as assigned by the Dean of the School of Health Careers.

Minimum Required Education Associate's Degree in Nursing**Possess a baccalaureate degree or be enrolled in a baccalaureate degree program (preferably in nursing) with completion within five to seven years of hire date.

Required Licenses and/or Certifications Hold a current license as a registered professional nurse in the state of West Virginia.

Type and Amount of Experience Needed Have experience as a registered professional nurse within the three years immediately preceding employment as a faculty member.Experience will include:1. Two years of patient side nursing care experience in an acute, intermediate or long term care facility2. One or more years of experience in one or more of the following areas; teaching, supervision or administration

Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
