Minimum $48,000 ANNUAL (12 months)

Degree and Area of Specialization:

Master's Degree or higher required. Degree in public health, population health, clinical investigation, health communications, or closely related field preferred.

Minimum number of years and type of relevant work experience:

1-2 years of experience in conducting outcomes, health services, or clinical research is required. At least 1-2 years in managing projects involving both qualitative and quantitative research is strongly preferred.

Position Summary:

The selected candidate for this position will serve as a key member of the research staff for the Wisconsin Surgical Outcomes Research Program (WiSOR). The immediate program needs are focused on quantitative and qualitative studies in emergency general surgery, with the potential to work on projects in minimally invasive surgery and/or otolaryngology. The selected candidate will assist WiSOR investigators in a variety of research areas, including project management, coordination of research teams, and execution of research. The selected candidate will be expected to have strong expertise in either qualitative or quantitative methods while remaining conversant in other approaches.
