Job Summary:

This position provides administrative support to the Neuroradiology Section Chief, the faculty of the Neuroradiology Section, and the Neuroradiology Fellowship Program in the Department of Radiology at the University of Wisconsin - Madison, School of Medicine and Public Health. This position requires excellent administrative and follow-up skills to meet the demands of the active section members. This position supports twelve neuroradiology faculty members and up to six neuroradiology fellows, who are active in teaching research and clinical activities.

This position will assist the non-accredited Neuroradiology Fellowship Program Director and will work with the accredited Neuroradiology Fellowship Coordinator. This includes assisting in coordinating and assembling vital information for the program and disseminating it to fellow applicants. Assist with the recruitment process and working with administration during the appointment process.

This position works with the Neuroradiology Section Chief in planning daily clinical and academic activities including meetings, section conferences, clinical schedules, recruitment itineraries, and assists faculty with correspondence to outside clinicians and referring physicians. This position must maintain patient confidentiality regarding all written and oral communication in accordance with privacy laws. This position requires excellent administrative, organizational and interpersonal skills and involves using independent planning, decision-making and judgment to screen, prioritize, track, and complete activities related to the clinical, education, administrative, and research programs of the School of Medicine and Public Health (SMPH), the Department of Radiology, and the Neuroradiology Section.
