Ithaca College seeks to hire part-time, per course lecturers to teach in our New York City Center during the fall and spring semesters of the 2018-19 academic year, and potential future semesters depending upon student interest. Journalism instructor sought to teach Media Literacy: Race, Gender and Ethnicity. Music instruction (private lessons) sought for flute, guitar, trumpet and drum set.
Position/Job Qualifications
Journalism course will engage students in a critical and analytical look at the construction, production and reception of mediated messages as they relate to race, gender, ethnicity, sexuality and religion. Selected instructor should have a Ph.D. or have completed the course work for that degree.

For Music instruction, the successful candidates must have successful teaching experience, a bachelor's degree, and substantial professional experience in music.
