The Florida Center for Reading Research. Located in Innovation Park at 2010 Levy Avenue.


Create and maintain FCRR and project websites, including revision requests, updates, and web-based applications as needed.

The coordination, production, and post-production editing of videos in support of FCRR research projects.

Meet regularly with internal clients to discuss projects.

Make recommendations regarding equipment and other resource acquisition, maintenance, and upgrading.


A Bachelor's degree and 2 years of experience or a combination of post high school education and experience equal to 6 years.

Knowledge of web programming languages including, but not limited to, HTML, CSS, PHP, Javascript, etc.

Knowledge of current creative software and practices.

Proficiency in both Windows and Mac environments.

Knowledge of accessibility and Section 508 compliance practices.


Familiarity with new online media software and applications (VideoScribe, Piktochart, etc.).

Extensive knowledge of video production and editing equipment.

Proficiency in web and video editing software, including but not limited to Adobe Premiere, After Effects, and Dreamweaver.

Anticipated Salary Range

Salary will be commensurate with education and experience.

Pay Plan

This is an A&P (Administrative and Professional) position.

Soft Money Funded Position

This is a soft money funded position, with renewal based on available funds and the needs of the University.

Criminal Background Check

This position requires successful completion of a criminal history background check. The background check will be conducted as authorized and in accordance with University Policy 4-OP-C-7-B11.
