The Department of Biology invites nominations and applications for six limited-term Instructor or limited-term Assistant Professor positions. Three positions are located on the Statesboro campus, and three positions are located on the Armstrong campus.

In January 2017, the University System of Georgia Board of Regents voted to consolidate Armstrong State University and Georgia Southern University. Within this setting, the Department of Biology offers a comprehensive biology program leading to B.S., B.A., and M.S. degrees.
