The University of North Texas Workplace Inclusion and Sustainable Employment (UNTWISE) is a part of the Rehabilitation and Health Services Department.

UNTWISE provides training to vocational rehabilitation practitioners, Employment Service Providers (ESP) and organizations serving individuals with disabilities.

Job Description
The Rehabilitation and Health Services Department at the University of North Texas is seeking to hire a Sr Administrative Specialist to join our team. Responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:

* Preparation of accounting related documents, including invoices, deposits, purchase orders, travel expense requests and vouchers.

* Coordinates billing of accounts receivable.

* Oversees and participates in making supply and equipment purchases with purchasing card or other necessary means.

* Maintain Departmental Records.

* Serves as liaison between department and grant funding sources regarding audits and fiscal information and monitors compliance with grant guidelines.

* Ensure correctness of WISE data bases.

* Ensure office coverage of telephone and WISE email account.

* Ensures established policies and procedures are applied to the credential process.

* Coordinates and schedules training events. Ensures the number and timing of training events are consistent with program requirements.

* Coordinate website updates.

* Ensure verbal and written communication facilitate understanding and/or collaborative spirit.

* Produce and disseminate marketing material.

* Coordinate summer programming.

Minimum Qualifications
The successful candidate will possess a Bachelor's Degree and three years of highly responsible and varied office administration or business management experience; or any equivalent combination of experience, education, and training. The following knowledge, skills, and abilities are required:

* Exceptional customer service skills.
* Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
* Knowledge of accounting/budgeting procedures.
* Ability to work under pressure, to adjust to constant changes, to handle multiple tasks, and to coordinate the work of others.
* Ability to keep complex records, to assemble and organize data of complex nature, and to prepare and submit reports in acceptable formats.
* Ability to conceptualize, plan and organize multiple programs and assignments effectively.
* Ability to work on complex and confidential tasks utilizing judgment, tact, and resourcefulness.
* Skill in developing and maintaining good working relationships.
* Knowledge of policies, practices, procedures and terminology of assigned function.
* Supervisory skills.

Preferred Qualifications
The preferred candidate will possess the following additional qualifications:

* State/University purchasing process experience.
* Experience working with grant/contract requirements.
