The faculty will carry a full-time teaching load of 12-hours per semester, which may include teaching evenings, weekends, and on-line course. The person will need to be able to teach in the area of non-profit studies, ranging from introductory level courses through senior experience. The faculty will also engage in scholarship and service.

Other duties include recruiting students, program development, and cultivating community partnerships for the purposes of enhancing placement opportunities and service-learning experiences. The successful candidate must be comfortable with and sensitive to working with students from diverse populations with an emphasis on competency in working with students of color, non-traditional age students, students with disabilities, students with diverse gender and sexual identities, and students from diverse socioeconomic backgrounds.

Candidates must be willing to adhere to policies and procedures regarding students and faculty as established by the University and Department.

Required Qualifications
Master's Degree in Human Services, Non-Profit Management, Social Work, Behavioral Health, or related field.

Preferred Qualifications
Doctoral Degree in Human Services, Non-Profit Management, Social Work, Behavioral Health, or related field.

Three years of clinical experience in a Behavioral Health setting.

Minimum of two years successful teaching experience in a higher education setting.

Five years of experience in the field of non-profit management.

Experience fundraising and grant writing for a non-profit agency.

Experience running or directing a non-profit agency.

Experience managing a board of directors as well as volunteers.

Experience conducting research, evaluating the results, and documenting the findings.
