Duties: Manages front desk admin support, phone and email correspondence for the graduate program, the School of Design, the dept. Chair, and Coordinator. Schedules critiques, reviews, workshops, meetings and events for students, faculty, visitors and staff; some evening and limited weekend work required. Arranges visitor payment, maintains web pages as well as shared, private and public online calendars, address databases, department files electronically or in hard-copy form. Uses University financial record systems to monitor, request, and process payments, honoraria and reimbursements and purchases supplies. Plans lunches, dinners, and special events. Assists with admissions reviews, open house, graduation events, and faculty search and appointment procedures. Uses the student record system to monitor registration and course listing information. Assist with orientation and registration. Oversee graduate studio and facilities and safety maintenance initiatives. Hire and supervise student workers. Coordinates the lecture series through correspondence with artists, their galleries, and the ICA. Assist in monitoring production of annual viewbook.

Qualifications: A High School Diploma or GED and 3 years to 5 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
