Position Summary: The UNC Department of Child & Adolescent Psychiatry are seeking a psychiatrist to provide clinical services in the Child & Adolescent Consult Liaison services, outpatient programs and some minimal inpatient coverage. This is a full-time fixed term (clinical) position at the Assistant or Associate Professor level. The rank will be based on the qualifications of the applicants. We anticipate hiring a child and adolescent psychiatrist to work primarily in both the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Consult Liaison Service and the outpatient setting to include but not limited to faculty practice clinics and resident clinics. Duties also include teaching/supervising fellows, residents, medical students and other trainees from a variety of disciplines.

Education Requirements: Applicants must have an MD or DO and be eligible for North Carolina licensure; have completed a Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship and be BC/BE.

Qualification and Experience: The successful candidate should have strong clinical skills and demonstrated teaching skills necessary to enable them to successfully provide educational and training experiences for medical students, residents, fellows, other health care trainees, and clinicians. Candidates should have clinical experience working with children and adolescent patients of all ages.
