Account Clerk Senior/UKHC

Job description



This position serves as the Account Clerk for the Accounting and AP unit within the Controller's Office. This position is responsible for document management, retention and destruction of paper and electronic files for all accounting transactions. It will provide support and cross-coverage to Accounting Specialists for ProCard editing, invoice processing and monthly reconciliation follow up.

Physical Requirements

The physical requirements of this position include occasionally standing or walking with objects up to 10lbs; regularly sitting at a computer workstation for extended periods of time with repetitive motions (such as typing.



Shift

Day, 7:30am - 4:00pm Monday-Friday

The ideal candidate will possess high attention to detail and efficiency; enjoy working independently as well as closely with their co-workers in a supportive team environment; stay focused in busy office environment; be well organized; ability to follow through to completion of tasks; possess excellent communication skills (both written & verbal); have strong problem solving skills; maintain quality assurance.
