General Summary: The University of North Georgia is currently accepting applications for a Part Time Temporary Financial Aid Call Center Assistant. The Financial Aid Call Center Assistant assists with incoming calls to the call center in providing excellent customer service.

Job Duties & Responsibilities: The Financial Aid Call Center Assistant will:

  • Provide excellent customer service to students and families
  • Provide answers to families questions and concerns accuracy and completely
  • Answer all student inquires by phone
  • Work with counselors to call students who are missing documents
  • Keep track of incoming calls for analysis purposes
  • Perform other job related duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • Must have knowledge of office practices, procedures, systems and equipment.
  • Basic knowledge of grammar, spelling punctuation and simple mathematical functions.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel and Access.
  • Ability to work effectively with a diverse population; ability to utilize BANNER or a similar relational database.

Certifications/Licenses & Minimum Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • One (1) year Customer service experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
