Job description

Position Summary: Primary representative and instructor in the Governmental Training, Education, and Development (GTED) Division for multiple and complex outreach and educational programs for a range of statewide training programs leading to a certificate or certification through the Carl Vinson Institute of Government. Develop and manage programs within university policies and procedures, including: project development; evaluation and reporting; client relationships and communication, budget design and tracking; conference planning and management; IT development and application; funding research and development; and, instruction in programs including full lesson development and assessment.

Responsibilities: Independently develop, manage and instruct in multiple and complex outreach and educational projects simultaneously, ensuring that all deliverable expectations are met for assigned instructional programs. Manage each program's full spectrum of functions including: consultant contract negotiation and supervision; curriculum and class development; presentation materials design and production; evaluation design, analysis and dissemination; coordination with conference database management that facilitates participant registration, ongoing communications, accommodations and special needs; management of eLC classroom tools and usage for participants; classroom management for instruction; development of other computer generated attendee materials such as case studies, worksheets, exercises; and design evaluations, analyze findings and generate outcomes reports.

Qualifications: Ph.D. in related field or equivalent combination of master's degree plus 5 years of experience required. Area-specific certification and/or training may be required and other training will be provided as appropriate.
