Department of Athletics - Video


Responsible for coordinating scouting video for Football and other sports as requested, requiring a working knowledge of all varsity sports programs. Travels with team(s), when necessary. Coordinates distribution of senior tapes to professional teams. Organize and record all games, practices, and events available through Internet, Cable TV, Direct TV, and Dish Network for Football, Baseball, Softball, Women's Soccer, Volleyball, and Sand Volleyball. Manage all aspects of baseball video operations. Assist in all aspects of football video operations.

Maintains competency in technological advances in video/computer hardware and software. Assists in training new/current staff on video/computer hardware and software. Provides technical assistance to visiting team video staff. Responsible for equipment maintenance and assisting with gathering information on scouting software purchases. Organizes football opponent video exchange.

Serves as Director of GA/Student Video Program. Communicates with the Director of Athletics on scouting and student program status. Oversees undergraduate and graduate assistants, volunteers, and OPS staff. Assist in scheduling of all workers through Spring, Summer, and Fall semesters.

Attends staff meetings and instructional/educational conferences, as required. Records all pertinent data needed to assist in budget process. Other duties as assigned.


Bachelor's degree and four years of experience related to the duties of this position or a combination of appropriate post high school education and experience equal to eight years.

Minimum of 1 year of experience working with video operations for multiple sports.
Knowledge of varsity collegiate sports programs.
Experience working with coaches editing video software.
Experience with or basic knowledge of video import, statistical import, video editing, filter creation, and exporting to analog video as well as exportation in digital formats.
Experience working with related computer applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook (or equivalent software).
Ability to video, edit, and archive video for multiple sports.
Ability to organize and share files for archival of video and information.
Ability to work a flexible schedule and travel out of town.

Pay Plan

This is an A&P (Administrative and Professional) position.


Must be able to work a flexible schedule to include evenings and weekends.

Criminal Background Check
