Position Summary: Incumbent reports to the Assistant Director of Patient Accounts and is responsible for supervising and monitoring workflow for the Federally Qualified Healthcare Center (FQHC) unit to ensure accounts receivable goals are achieved. The supervisor will be responsible for the supervision of employees and handling all work related and Human Resources issues which include such aspects as hiring, discipline, and employee evaluations. Act as a department training resource and hold regular staff meetings. Supervisor will monitor productivity and establish new standards and goal setting as needed. Completes special projects as assigned by management.
Rate Minimum $23.90 Midpoint $32.16 Maximum $40.42
Required Qualifications:Excellent communication skillsMust also have experience in Medicare, managed care, indemnity and other governmental programs.Must be able to facilitate accurate and timely billing and collectionsMust demonstrate strong technical knowledge of CPT, HCPS and ICD-9 coding, authorization requirements and related documentationMust have experience in using computers and related programsMust have the ability to maintain a pace appropriate to the workloadMust have working experience in billing and collections of Medi-Cal, CalOptima and other programs that fall under the scope of Medi-Cal.
