Degree and Area of Specialization:

Bachelor's degree in psychology or related field required.



Minimum number of years and type of relevant work experience:

Well qualified applicants will have the following preferred experience: Experience conducting research with adults and children.
Formal coursework in research methods, statistics, developmental psychology, and social psychology are preferred. Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office and SPSS are desirable.

Preference will be given to applicants who have prior research experience conducting intervention-related research. Preference will also be given to applicants who have experience conducting research within school settings, have experience working with psychology participant pools, and have experience supervising undergraduate students.

Position Summary:

The Prejudice and Intergroup Relations Lab is a research group that focuses on understanding the origins of intergroup biases, the perpetuation of biases, and the reduction of biases. This position will be engaged in performing research tasks, training
undergraduate students and administrative tasks. Many of the projects conducted within the laboratory concern large-scale intervention studies from childhood through adulthood. More information can be found here: https://sites.google.com/site/devinesocialpsych/
