Brief Summary of Work for this Position:
Collects data elements, maintains space management database, conducts space needs analysis and processes space planning requests, maintains university administration and academic space moves.
N.C. Minimum Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
Bachelor’s degree; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.
Additional knowledge, skills, and abilities required to perform the essential functions of the position:
Familiarity with AiM (Intelligence in Asset Management), EMS (Event Scheduling Software) and Banner or the demonstrated ability to learn these software tools
Ability to work with complex data while ensuring data integrity
Possess strong communication skills and ability to understand the needs of campus
Ability to meet deadlines and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
Must be intrinsically motivated/self-starter with strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently while working in a team environment
Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds occasionally, with or without reasonable accommodations
Must be able to interpret construction and floor plans
Preferred education, professional skills and experience:
Demonstrated project management skills
Familiarity with AutoCAD
Experience working in a university or college setting
Certifications or licensure required to perform the essential functions of the position:
Must possess a valid driver’s license
Recruitment Range: $38,000 - $41,794
NC Salary Grade Equivalency: 63
Hours Per Week: 1.0 (40 hours per week)
Months Per Year: 12 Months
Work Days: Monday - Friday
Work Hours: 8:00AM - 5:00PM
