Duties: The Program Coordinator supports the Director and Associate Director and activities of Platt Student Performing Arts House and the Performing Arts Council with their productions and in the development of social, cultural, service and educational events throughout the year. The Program Coordinator will collaboratively work with the Associate Director and Director to support procuring of rehearsal and performance spaces, expanding community outreach initiatives, co-advising the Performing Arts Executive Council, advising visual art clubs, planning educational and technical programming, planning organizational outreach, assist with alumni outreach and stewardship, and assist in marketing, documentation, and archival organization.
Qualifications: BS required and 3-5 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience with event planning, marketing, and performing arts preferred. Student affairs or higher education experience preferred. Sensitivity to students from diverse backgrounds and interests essential. Must have an interest in working with students, alumni, and community members. Flexible work schedule required, some evening and weekends necessary.
