The College of Pharmacy is seeking a Scientist I to join the laboratory of Dr. Chang-Guo Zhan.
The Scientist will use state-of-the-art computational techniques to model and simulate the detailed structures of biomacromolecules (such as protein, DNA, and RNA) and how they interact with their ligands.
Additional responsibilities include carrying out virtual screening and molecular design for drug design based on known compounds and performing de novo design of novel compounds as the candidates of desirable drugs.
The Scientist will train graduate students and post doctoral scholars on research techniques and strategies.
