Responsibilities

This position serves as an OPS Researcher for the College of Law's Office of Development & Alumni Affairs, primarily focused on data research, retrieval and entry in Raiser's Edge.

This position assists with the maintenance of the College of Law Development and Alumni Affairs' constituent database, Raiser's Edge. Responsibilities include but are not limited to, researching, reviewing and updating constituent records. Database work involves the use of BlackBaud/Raiser's Edge database, FSU Foundation's CRM database and internet research.

Provides support for special programs and events including but not limited to:

Research and update missing alumni information in Raiser's Edge, file paperwork, and provide assistance to full-time office personnel.

Attend and help with events as instructed.

Provides administrative support to office and assists with additional projects as assigned.

Qualifications

This position requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and one year of related experience.

Applicants must be familiar with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) or similar software and standard office equipment/procedures. Must be able to independently prioritize multiple work assignments, maintain professional office demeanor and interact with a wide variety of constituents (students, faculty, staff, alumni and others). Must have a valid driver's license and access to a reliable form of personal transportation.

Preferred

Bachelor's degree and experience working in higher education is preferred.

Pay Plan

This is an OPS/temporary Job.

Schedule

Position is 15+ hours per week. Occasional night and weekend hours may be required for special events. Must commit to position for one full year.

Criminal Background Check

This position requires successful completion of a criminal history background check. The background check will be conducted as authorized and in accordance with University Policy 4-OP-C-7-B11.
