Summary of Duties:
Coordinate and oversee the implementation of research studies and projects through community outreach, developing recruitment strategies by engaging participants, site staff, and community members in research at Partnerships for Native Health and Behavior Health Innovations groups. Monitor ongoing studies and projects to ensure that protocols are met and to address any issues. This position will also assist with data collection management, data security, and protocol adherence.

Specifically, assist with implementation of a randomized controlled trial of a behavioral intervention for alcohol dependence in three American Indian and Alaska Native communities. The position works with Native communities to conduct, engagement, outreach and implementation of behavioral health research.

Knowledge of human subjects regulations, policy and procedure will also be utilized. Projects may include assessment of individuals with drug and alcohol problems, contingency management interventions, database entry (RedCap) and validation, and conducting urine testing using a Thermo Fisher Scientific Analyzer. Recruit and retain study participants that meet the requirements of studies and research.

Required Qualifications:
Two years of college level course work in a relevant academic area AND two years of experience as a Research Study Assistant OR equivalent education/experience.
