JOB SUMMARY:

Manages the Spousal Hiring Assistance Program and the diversity recruitment strategy for faculty and staff positions. Develops and maintains a network of organizations and provides guidance to search committees throughout the recruitment process.
JOB DUTIES:

Spousal Hiring Assistance Program Management: Responsible for the management, communication, development, and promotion of the faculty and staff spousal and partner hiring assistance program. Manages communications with all eligible spouses throughout the entire process to include job recommendations and career search resources and tools. Liaisons with appropriate departments, colleges, and provost office for implementation of successful spousal faculty hire. 55% - Essential

Relationship/Network Coordination: Engages and develops relationships with area businesses, institutions, and individuals for possible recruiting partnerships. Maintains network of external contacts that can be leveraged for other recruiting and university needs. 20% - Essential

Diversity Recruitment: Responsible for the partnering with other diversity focused faculty and staff roles on campus to develop diversity recruitment strategy with a focus on identifying and engaging candidates from underrepresented demographics. Generates diverse talent pipelines, engages with potential candidates, and evaluates their fit for positions at Clemson. Identifies and builds relationships with external partners that support Clemson's diversity and inclusion strategies for underrepresented groups. Tracks and reports diversity recruiting metrics. 15% - Essential

Other Recruitment Activities: Represents Clemson University at job fairs and conferences. Assists with searches as needed. Provides customer service for applicants, hiring managers, HR partners, and any other individuals who need assistance with recruiting processes, services, or systems. 5% - Essential
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

A bachelor's degree and experience in human resources management programs.

Monitors Budget - Does not provide input but is responsible for monitoring the departmental budget and may oversee fund allocation.
