The Department of Orthopedics, Steadman Hawkins Clinic has an opening for a full-time, University Staff (unclassified) Steadman Hawkins Clinic Technician (Health Care Technician I) position.

The Steadman Hawkins Clinic Technician will assist the physicians and physician assistants by setting up exam rooms, clearing and preparing rooms after patient visits, cleaning equipment, performing basic patient monitoring, providing basic counseling and education, assisting with patient phlebotomy (blood draws), using the blood analyzer machine, and performing transcription work. This position is responsible for operating independently when supporting the clinic with patient care and treatment. This position will follow established work procedures and will operate within standard guidelines when setting up rooms, clearing and preparing equipment for procedures and running labs.

Salary and Benefits:
The hiring salary for this position has been established at $34,260 - $40,428 and is commensurate with skills and experience. This position is eligible for overtime compensation.

- Experience using general office equipment.
- Phlebotomy certification.
