The Department of Communication, at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, seeks applicants to fill one or more positions of Instructor or Lecturer. These positions will involve teaching 4 sections of CMN 101 (Public Speaking) per semester.
Minimum Required Qualifications:
• Master's degree for Instructor. Ph.D. for Lecturer
• Experience in university undergraduate teaching and/or experience with corporate training
• Experience with public speaking.
• 2+ years of college teaching or similar corporate training experience
• Experience working with underrepresented students, first-generation students, and/or students from disadvantaged economic backgrounds
The Instructor/Lecturer position(s) are full-time, benefits-eligible, non-tenure track position(s) appointed on a 9-month service basis. Eligibility for the benefits are contingent on your citizenship or work authorization.
