Clinical Coordinator

Job description

Coordinates clinical functions of the Health Center. Provides nursing care to Bowdoin College students and nursing support to Health Center providers and for Health Center services. Serves as central communications link between Health Center and campus community. Provides foreign travel consultations and immunizations-to students, faculty and the public.

8:30 am - 5:00 pm Monday - Friday. Some weekends may be required. 44 weeks per year. This is an exempt position requiring time commitment necessary to satisfactorily complete job requirements.Required: High school diploma or GED; Bachelor's degree; MSN from accredited nursing program. Licensed as RN in the State of Maine. Health education background and skills. Excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to prioritize, organize, and multitask in a fast-paced environment. Excellent customer service skills.

Experience in outpatient office/clinic settings, particularly with young adults. Triage experience. Office administrative experience, especially in quality control. Familiarity with State immunization, travel immunization, allergy desensitization and laboratory test protocols. Phlebotomy and IV therapy competency.
