Information Technology Services


Installs, maintains, troubleshoots, or modifies computer hardware, multimedia equipment, and related devices. Initiates routine diagnostics to determine cause of equipment failure and follows standard procedures for problem resolution. Installs and customizes application software.

Serves as a principle point of contact to answer inquiries and serves as liaison between end users and the appropriate Information Technology Services (ITS) area or University department able to provide problem resolution, within defined turnaround time.

Trains users on basic computer functions, software, or multimedia equipment to facilitate and enhance their work experience.

Maintains appropriate information relating to workstation configurations, replacement cycle, and planning.

Assist in other duties as assigned. A State vehicle, golf cart, or utility vehicle will be used to reach site premises. A valid driver's license will be needed in order to operate vehicle.

Performs duties in compliance with ITS policies, guidelines, and processes pertaining to support requests, work orders, project management, change management, and incident management. Appropriately utilizes associated tools in accordance with ITS standards.


High school diploma or equivalency and two years of experience or a combination of post high school education and experience equal to two years.
A Valid Driver's License, Class E
Knowledge and experience communicating verbally and in writing.
Experience demonstrating effective customer service skills.
Experience conveying technical information to technical and non-technical users.
Experience documenting existing and new processes, while maintaining and establishing effective working relationships.
Knowledge and experience maintaining and improving personal and team effectiveness, while fostering change and creativity.
Experience prioritizing and organizing work assignments, while utilizing problem solving skills.
Experience utilizing technical skills.
Knowledge of and the ability to interpret and apply related University policies, procedures, principles, and practices.
Knowledge of applicable computer software and operating systems.
Knowledge of applicable computer applications and basic computer functions.
Knowledge of standard concepts, practices, and procedures for computer support.
Knowledge of computer operations, functions, and related peripherals


Basic TCP/IP Networking experience

Macintosh and iOS experience

Active Directory experience

Windows 10 installation experience

Data Migration / Backup experience

Pay Plan

This is an USPS (University Support Personnel System) position.


Monday through Friday, 7:30AM-4:30PM

Criminal Background Check
