Director of Global Business Programs
Farmer School of Business: Director of Global Business Programs to provide strategic leadership for the Global Programs in the Farmer School of Business. The director oversees and administers all aspects related to the development, implementation, and execution of the initiatives, specifically the faculty-led programs, global internships, study abroad scholarships, and faculty/student preparation; identifies and initiates new study abroad program initiatives and strategies, directs annual program selection and slate coordinating with the FSB Associate Director, faculty and the Dean’s Office; develops and manages program design for all FSB faculty-led programs; includes faculty recruitment and placement, itinerary and budget development, and writing proposals; administers and executes all faculty-led program logistics including workflow process, student recruitment, placement, and pre-departure preparation for both students and faculty; manages identifying and selecting of vendors to support study abroad programs, includes processing agreements and contracts, and developing program budgets; directs all program and departmental expenses and approves expenditures; roughly $2M annually; administers and oversees awarding of FSB Study Abroad scholarships awarding; over $200K annually; oversee marketing and recruitment (website, presentations, and print materials); international travel may be required.
Require: Master’s degree in Higher Education, International Education, or related field; five years of experience in the field of international education; experience in developing and managing budgets.

Desire: Master’s degree in international education, higher education or related area from an accredited university; nine or more years of experience in the field of international education and study abroad; strong program development and program management experience; ability to work independently and productively in an ever-changing fast-paced environment; proven ability to set priorities, exercise initiative and execute projects; detail oriented; team-oriented; experience working with diverse populations and cultures; experience studying or living abroad; excellent computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, and proven engagement with professional organizations and best practices in field of International Education.
