COUNSELING PSYCHOLOGIST B
Duties: Train and supervise School District of Philadelphia staff on evidence-based interventions during ongoing classroom consultation sessions. Develop and implement large-scale professional development workshops on Applied Behavior Analytic techniques and evidence-based interventions for young children with autism. Develop and administer multiple protocols to determine the efficacy of consultation and treatment. Maintain complex scheduling system, organize large amounts of paperwork, and lead bi-weekly clinical supervision meetings. Build and maintain strong relationships with outside organizations/partners, including the District, school administration, parent advocacy groups, and the behavioral health system.
Qualifications: The minimum of a Master's Degree and 3 years to 5 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience are required. Qualified applicants must have an expert knowledge of autism and have 3 years experience working effectively in a school district, with school-building teams and administration to ensure successful intervention implementation. Specific experience with behavior analytic approaches and board certified Behavior Analysts are desired. Candidates must have a valid driver s license and pass a PA Criminal Background Check, FBI Fingerprinting clearance, and Child Abuse Clearance.
