Position Department Computer and Information Systems

The Department of Computer and Information Systems (CIS) within the School of Communication and Information Systems seeks applicants for a tenure-track, Assistant/Associate Professor position to teach in the Cyber Forensics, Information Security, and Cyber Security areas beginning Fall, 2018.

Applicant should have a strong background in teaching and researching in the areas of Cyber Security, Network Security, Security Management, Computer Forensics, Mobile Forensic, and Object-Oriented Programming Languages. Experience with open source computer security, penetration testing and forensics tools (e.g., FTK, Encase, Paraben, Autopsy, DEEFT, Splunk, Cellebrite) and Linux are preferred. Computer security or forensic certifications are also preferred.

Minimum Qualifications
Applicant must have a Ph.D. in either Information Systems or Computer Science (or an equivalent, terminal degree in a closely related discipline), teaching experience, and an established record of academic research.
