Job Summary:

This is an entry to advanced level position providing specialized technician support to the operational needs of the clinical research program of the Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital (VMTH). The qualified candidate should be a certified veterinary technician. Required skills include experience with client and referring veterinarian communication; competence in animal handling and restraint, venipuncture, cystocentesis, and catheter placement; and demonstrated organizational skills in record keeping and medical record maintenance.



Requirements:

Certification as Wisconsin Veterinary Technician or Eligibility to Obtain



Schedule Comment:

50% FTE, approximately 20 hours per week within a 8:00am-5:00pm Monday-Friday timeframe.
