As Bursar's Office cashier, the employee serves students, departments, and other internal and external constituencies by processing payments, deposits, advance reimbursements, and other financial transactions while maintaining accuracy and consistency, and also providing superior customer service at all times.Minimum Qualifications (Classified and Unclassified positions)
High school diploma and 1 year of clerical accounting or bookkeeping experience.Preferred Qualifications
Banking/Teller/Cashier experience preferred. Customer service experience highly preferred with a record of proven quality of service provided in a dynamic environment with multiple distractions, interruptions, and repetitive tasks.Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Employee should have considerable knowledge of office procedures and must be able to communicate effectively – verbally and in writing. Employee must have the ability to perform cash handling duties with complete accuracy.
