POSITION: A full-time, Physician position (professional academic staff) is available in Student Health Services at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire beginning August 2018. This is an 80-100% Academic Year (9-month) contract with negotiable summer contracts.



  • MD/DO with active and unrestricted license in Wisconsin and DEA registration (or ability to obtain by the time of hire)
  • 5 or more years of experience (post residency) in an ambulatory setting
  • Experience working with a diverse population and commitment to diversity and inclusivity
  • Computer competency that includes Electronic Health Records/Patient Management System and ability to keep records up to date on a weekly basis

  • Board Certification in Primary Care (Family/internal/Emergency Medicine or Pediatrics)
  • Experience/proficiency in medical management of acute & chronic health issues in adolescents/young adults as well as preventative care management. This includes the full range of urgent care issues, mental health issues, minor surgical procedures, etc.
  • Experience with/special interest in transgender care would be an asset
  • Ability to function within a team approach
