Job Description: The Department of Cell and Molecular Physiology at Loyola University Chicago, Health Sciences Division seeks applicants for multiple tenure-track positions at the ASSISTANT PROFESSOR, ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR and PROFESSOR level. We seek colleagues that will contribute to or expand upon our existing strengths in cell and systems physiology in health and disease. Our faculty are actively engaged in basic and translational research in diverse areas including molecular neuroscience, cardiovascular physiology, aging, metabolomics, proteomics, and biophysics. Laboratory space will be in the newly constructed Center for Translational Research and Education (www.luc.edu/ctre). The faculty applicant will be expected to sustain an independent, externally funded research program, and contribute to graduate and medical education. Candidates must have a doctoral degree and postdoctoral experience with strong publication records. Established investigators should have a strong record of research productivity and extramural support.
