Advertised Job Summary: The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry invites applications for an Administrative Coordinator II position. The successful candidate hired in this position will serve as the Stockroom Manager for the Arts and Sciences Science Stockroom. The Stockroom Manager is responsible for the daily operation of the stockroom, which include managing a large volume of inventory for re-sale, shipping and receiving, replenishing inventory as needed, monthly billing and payment of invoices. This position also serves as the Procurement Manager responsible for procuring goods and services for the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry and the Department of Biological Sciences' teaching laboratories. The Stockroom Manager must have working knowledge of the various university methods to procure goods and services as well as adhere to all safety standards and guidelines that are in accordance with the university and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations regarding the handling of hazardous substance. This is a full-time permanent position that offers health benefits, annual and sick leave.
Minimum Qualifications (Classified and Unclassified positions): Master's degree and 1 year related experience in business, public administration or administrative services, or bachelor's degree and 3 years related experience; or equivalency.
