HR IT Data Analyst
Location Administrative Services Bldg
Full/Part Time Full-Time
Serves as the primary contact for data analysis and reporting needs for the HR department. Develops, delivers and administrates data analytics, visualizations, reports and dashboards as they relate to HR analytics. Also assists and supports other team member as assigned with the development and maintenance of the various web applications and tools used within HR. Collaborates with cross-functional teams across the university representing HR IT needs as assigned. Other duties as assigned.
Data Administration: 50% - Essential
Serves as the primary contact for the development, administration and overall management of the various web applications and tools used in HR that utilize HR data. Serves as the primary contact for data and reporting needs of the HR department. Performs analytical and reporting responsibilities. Develops, delivers, and administers data analytics, visualization reports and dashboards as they relate to HR analytics. Performs ad-hoc analysis and reporting to inform decision making.
System Administration: 20% - Essential
Serves as one of the primary contacts for the collaboration, development and support of various web applications and pages used in HR. Providing coding, administration and content updates as needed to support the HR IT team. Processes employee information and maintains employee records in Human Resource Information Systems.
Technical Expertise: 20% - Essential
Maintains knowledge of various HR systems, including hardware, software and custom web applications. Providing end user support, documentation, and training for the various HR systems. Researches IT solutions and makes recommendations applicable to HR needs.
Collaboration: 10% - Essential
Participates in various IT groups and projects across campus as it pertains to HR IT functions. Attends meetings, collaborates with cross functional, cross departmental teams representing HR IT as assigned.
A high school diploma and experience in computer system development and modification. A bachelor's degree in a related area may be substituted for the required work experience.
Firm Job Knowledge - Firm working knowledge of concepts, practices and procedures and ability to use in varied situations
