Farmer School of Business: Systems Analyst to Under the direction of the Farmer School of Business Sr. Director of Information Technology participate in a team responsible for developing and delivering custom IT solutions and supporting applications to students, faculty and staff; participate in cross-functional projects; provide leadership on implementation and maintenance of virtual desktop, Oracle, SQL and Linux servers; coordinate small development tasks while identifying roadblocks and reporting them to senior IT staff for direction; design, develop, modify, test, and implement computer and web applications; design logging, APIs, code reuse, etc.; design, develop, implement and coordinate systems, policies and procedures; develop application specifications based on existing requirements using Agile or other techniques; participate in gathering and documenting requirements and writing application code and reports; coordinate support of existing applications like SharePoint, RT help desk, inventory system, EPAF Database and Personnel Database; create web interface, reports in Oracle database, mobile applications; work proactively to maintain data integrity and provide technical guidance for FSB IT staff and technicians; create and execute multiple levels of application testing; provide technology support and problem resolution for FSB classrooms and conference rooms and demonstrations and training on new and modified computer applications to end users; work with faculty, staff and students to suggest solutions to problems and create a positive working relationship; participate in professional development activities; perform other related duties as required or assigned.
Desire: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, or Systems Analytics. Five years of experience in software application development or a related field.
