UNT Health, Dermatology, exceeds expectations in diagnosing and treating conditions of the skin, hair, and nails. We treat conditions both medically and surgically, including cosmetic procedures. UNT Dermatology is dedicated to providing excellent care through clinical practice, education, and research.
The Internal Medicine Department at the University of North Texas Health Science Center is seeking to hire a Medical Assistant to join our team. Responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to:
* Record vital signs and patient histories, including information such as test results in medical records.
* Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations, keeping equipment and rooms autoclaved, neat, and clean.
* Prepare laboratory specimens.
* Data input.
* Maintain supplies/ordering.
* Room patients and prepare them for the physician.
* Act as chaperone.

The successful candidate will possess the following required qualifications:
High school diploma or GED and three (3) years of related experience. Requires graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program.
The preferred candidate will possess the following additional qualifications:
* Dermatology experience.
