Administrative Assistant

Location: Baker College of Flint
Compensation: Hourly rate based on education, experience, and existing wage rates for similar positions within Baker College Professional Services, Inc.
Start Date: ASAP

Reports To: Campus President
Work Schedule: Up to 20 hours per week, 52 weeks per year, some evenings and weekends may be required

Baker College Professional Services, Inc. seeks to hire an individual to be assigned to the position of ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT - (PART-TIME) for the benefit of and to be located at Baker College of Flint.

General Statement of Duties:

To greet visitors, answer the phones and assist employees with daily functions.

Minimum Education & Experience Requirements:

  • Associates degree from an accredited college or university required; Bachelor degree from an accredited college or university preferred
  • Excellent customer service skills required
  • Able to operate multi-line phone system
  • Ability to train
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Ability to operate and troubleshoot printers, postage machines, and copiers
  • Must be knowledgeable in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Apps
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Ability to lift and maneuver independently up to 25 lbs.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Answer multi-line phone system
  • Order supplies
  • Computer work and copying work for multiple departments
  • Greeting and assisting students and guests
  • Sort, post, and distribute mail and packages
  • Complete special projects
  • Assist with test proctoring and tutoring
  • Other duties as assigned
