Job Description
Responsible for enforcing the parking regulations of the university, assisting motorists, and securing the safety of students, faculty, and staff.

Job Duties
Security Guards are responsible for all the buildings on campus to be locked and secured, respond to fire alarms, trouble alarms, smoke detectors and to assist police officers. Security Guards patrol the residential housing, parking garages and parking lots. Security Guards provide safety escorts, battery jumps, building unlocks, work overtime special events, building checks and provide information to the public. Other duties are golf cart and vehicle inspections, assist police officers, and additional duties as assigned.
