URSINUS COLLEGE invites applications for a Visiting Assistant Professor in Journalism beginning Fall 2018. The Media & Communication Studies Department seeks candidates with expertise in news writing, sports media, multimedia journalism, and/or media ethics. The successful candidate for this one-year position will teach a 3/3 load, as well as advise the Grizzly, our weekly student run newspaper, which currently appears in both a print and an on-line edition. MA with relevant experience or Ph.D. preferred; journalists with extensive experience will also be considered. Classes begin on August 27, 2018. New Faculty are expected to participate in a two-session new faculty orientation, which will take place one and two weeks prior to the start of classes.
