Director, MDC WORKS

  Job Summary          

The Director of MDC WORKS: Next Generation Career Center (“MDC WORKS”) provides leadership and strategic vision for the development of MDC WORKS by developing a sustainable business plan, relevant programming, communications and industry engagement strategy. The position leads the development and implementation of MDC WORKS strategic plan and oversees the day to day operations of Career & Technical Education Advisement, Internships, Apprenticeships and Alumni Career Services.  This is a Professional Exempt Contractual (PEC) position for which an annual contract reflecting the base salary within the fiscal year (July 1st to June 30th) will be issued after ratification by Miami Dade College’s District Board of Trustees. 

 

 

  Minimum Requirements          

  • Master’s degree in a related field of study such as Communications, Public Relations, Marketing or Project Management and four (4) years of related experience; or a Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution in a related field of study and eight (8) years of related experience which may include brand management, strategy development, large- scale project management and publicrelations
  • All degrees must be from a regionally accredited institution
