General Summary
The Department of Philosophy invites applications for one non-tenure track faculty position to teach 100 and 200 level philosophy courses that fulfill General Education requirements. Whether this position is full-time or part-time is to be determined depending on funding and enrollment.

These positions are represented by the Illinois State University Education Association and may have associated dues or fees.

Required Qualifications
1. Master's degree in Philosophy conferred by start date of appointment
2. Prior teaching experience
3. State law mandates demonstrable oral proficiency in the English language as a requirement for this position.
4. If this position is Security Sensitive or if you are subject to criminal background investigation based on University policy, employment is contingent upon you passing a satisfactory criminal background investigation. You may not begin work until the criminal background investigation results have been received and cleared by Human Resources.

Desired Qualifications
Ph.D. or ABD in Philosophy
