Housed within GW's College of Professional Studies (CPS), GSPM programs are delivered in flexible formats: face-to-face, online, or a blend of both and provide credentials for the workforce that uphold the University's rigorous standards of academic excellence and respond to the needs of today's professionals. The College of Professional Studies (CPS) is searching for an Admissions Coordinator for the Graduate School of Political Management.

The position reports to the Senior Enrollment and Recruitment Specialist. This position does not have direct reports but may train and supervise temporary staff.

The primary focus for the Admissions Coordinator is to assist in recruiting at the Foggy Bottom campus.

The key responsibilities include:

Serve as a point of contact for prospective students interested in GSPM's face-to-face programs.

Manage student ambassadors (identification, participation, and reimbursement).

Assist with planning and staff recruiting events (sometimes on nights and weekends).

Assist with the creation and implementation of drip campaigns.

Under the guidance of the Senior Enrollment & Recruitment Specialist and Chief of Staff, process necessary payments and reconcile expense reports.

Compose content and send biweekly events reports and monthly updates for prospective students. Set up campus visits, classroom visits (and add to/coordinate with the master calendar).

Mail/drop off materials to Semester in Washington Program.

Prepare recruiting materials for prospective student meetings (Folders, One Pagers, Swag, etc.).

Assist in data management. Input and update new lead information in Target X.

Monitor and track leads/applicants throughout recruitment/enrollment cycle. Compile recruitment reports to identify recruitment trends/opportunities.

Assist with planning recruiting events.
Assist Associate Director for Communications with media tasks.

Assist Senior Marketing Specialist in administrative and logistical tasks.

Assist with the creation and implementation of drip campaigns.

Under the guidance of the Senior Enrollment & Recruitment Specialist and Chief of Staff, process necessary payments and reconcile expense reports.

Perform other related duties as assigned. The omission of specific duties does not preclude the supervisor from assigning.

Minimum Qualifications:

Qualified candidates will hold a high school diploma/GED plus 1.5 years of relevant professional experience, or, a Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant area of study. Degree must be conferred by the start date of the position. Degree requirements may be substituted with an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

Additional Required Licenses/Certifications/Posting Specific Minimum Qualifications: Preferred Qualifications:

Familiarity with CRM/CMS database and application software (preference for Salesforce and Target X).

Experience working within a higher education environment.

An understanding and interest in U.S. politics, advocacy and communications.

Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills, self-motivated, a demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure to meet deadlines.

Excellent communicator with strong interpersonal, customer service, communication, and presentation skills.

Enjoy working as part of a team as well as independently to achieve program goals and objectives.

Experience in social media management, sales/recruitment, marketing, or program management.

Proficiency with spreadsheets and word processing software.

Experience with planning meeting or conference events either online or in person.
