Posting Summary

Reporting to the Director of Residential Life, assist with general leadership responsibilities for the department. In particular, they will have primary responsibility for the coordination and management of department's strategic wide initiatives related to Restorative Practices (RP), Results Based Accountability (RBA), and intercultural competence training and development. This position will also research best practices in student-affairs/higher education, managing data collection, and coordinating all assessment and evaluation efforts and be responsible for coordinating the department's annual report data and narratives. This position will also provide diversity leadership to ensure the continuous growth of all staff (full-time, graduate professionals, and student staff) working in the department, advancing the division's and the department's commitment to diversity by 1) supporting and promoting a safe and healthy work environment and community for people of all races, colors, religions, national origins, genders, sexual orientations, disabilities, and ages, and 2) role models behavior by articulating expectations that we live and work together in one community, bound together by our commitment to learning and respect for one another.

Minimum Qualifications (or equivalent combination of education and experience)

Master's degree in higher education, student-affairs, student personnel, counseling, education, or related field and three-five years of residence life experience required. Demonstrated commitment to fostering diversity through an inclusive multicultural environment.
