Position Title: Nursing Tenure Track Faculty - Commencing Fall 2018

Salary: 58,000.00

Qualifications:

Current RN licensure in New York State, a Master's degree in Nursing at the time of appointment, and a minimum of three (3) years of clinical experience are required.

A Master's degree in Nursing Education and clinical experience in Medical Surgical preferred.

Candidates must also possess good interpersonal and communication skills, the ability to work in a multicultural environment, and a willingness to work and contribute collaboratively.

Duties:

Seeking nursing faculty to teach in an Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN)-accredited, Associate's Degree nursing program. Teaching responsibility includes lecture and clinical assignments offered during the day or evening on the Utica and Rome campuses with travel to off-campus clinical sites.

We seek candidates with: an understanding of the college mission and teaching experience in a comprehensive community college; a focus on student success in a learner-centered environment; and a willingness to use technology to support learning in the academic and clinical setting, including on-line instruction and assessment of student learning outcomes. The position requires student advisement and committee responsibilities, curriculum development and program assessment activities, variable teaching schedules and alternative instructional strategies as assigned. Participation in service-based learning and interest in international initiatives are appreciated.
